BUPA Again Recruits Insurance Data Migrations

BUPA has once again selected Insurance Data Migration to carry out their next migration project. This second migration also involved a redesign of a MS Access database used for recording and reviewing Health Fact Sheet Information.

BUPA is a global health and care organisation with a turnover of £3.7 billion and business operations in seven different countries.

The front and back ends of the database will be redesigned to allow the users to produce the first and subsequent reviews of a Fact Sheet on the same report. The original data will then be migrated into the new database along with the new report templates.

Insurance Data Migrations will have carried two successful migrations for BUPA working with two separate specialist divisions in BUPA's Manchester and London offices.

The first migration at BUPA Manchester involved extracting large amounts of financial information from a legacy Oracle database. Insurance Data Migrations then worked closely with an in-house team to clean, manipulate the data and load it into the target system.

"Our partnership with BUPA continues to work extremely well. The progress being made with these projects is due to our excellent working relationship. Even though these our relatively quiet small migration projects we are dedicated and committed to there success and to offering BUPA a first class service," said Paul Johnson, Managing Director, Insurance Data Migrations.
